M2 World Championship for the MOBA category game, Mobile Legends was the first offline eSports tournament held in Southeast Asia this year. Being the first LAN event succeeding the gloomy year, M2 World Championship was held in Singapore which gained a peak viewership of 3.08 million. The tournament consisting of $300,000 USD prize pool was won by Bren Esports.

4) M3 World Championship
The fourth most popular eSports tournaments in 2021 is the M3 World Championship held for the same game mentioned above. The tournament came to an end just a few days ago and the prize pool was increased to $800,000 USD. It was another LAN event which was won by Blacklist International. The peak viewership went up to 3.19 million.
3) PUBG Mobile Global Championship Season 0
The first global tournament of PUBG Mobile that featured best teams from the eastern and western region. The tournament has gained the peak viewership of 3.8 million and was also nominated for the best eSports tournament at Game Awards 2021. Defending champions Nova Esports from China won the championship as well as the winner’s prize of $700,000 USD.
2) World Championship (League of Legends)
World Championship 2021 featured 24 teams from all the regions of the world and was the final tournament for League of Legends eSports this year. Riot Games had announced a $2,225,000 USD prize pool for the tournament which was won by Edward Gaming. The fierce competition between the teams shot up the peak viewership of the tournament to 4.01 million.

The most popular eSports tournament in 2021 is FFWS Singapore. The final stage of the tournament garnered a whopping 5.41 million peak viewership. It was the first LAN event for mobile battle royale this year. However, several teams were unable to travel due to Covid-19 restrictions. Nevertheless, $2,000,000 USD prize pool tournament gained immense success and was won by Phoenix Force.
