How To Unlock The M13B in DMZ in Call of Duty Warzone 2.0

Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 and the first season of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 have been dropped, and brought along a number of new updates. One of these updates is the addition of new guns like the M13B Assault Rifle.

The M13B is one of the most elusive weapons in the game. According to the official CoD blog, “The M13B features a short-stroke piston system that allows for a high rate of fire and low recoil.” This gun can be unlocked without the use of IRL money and the process is pretty simple.

The blog from Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 did not specify the way to get the gun but after the game was released, players found two ways using which they can get their hands on this exclusive gun.

Step By Step Guide To Unlock The M13B Gun in Call of Duty Warzone 2.0

The latest update and the release of Warzone 2.0 features the addition of four new guns to the game:

  • Victus MXR Sniper Rifle — Imperatorium Platform
  • BAS-P SMG — Bruen Ops Platform
  • Chimera Assault Rifle — Bruen Ops Platform
  • M13B Assault Rifle — Bruen Ops Platform

To unlock the M13B assault rifle, players will need to head to the new DMZ game mode. In the mode, players will need to jump to an exclusive drop location and defeat an AI boss known as the Chemist in the DMZ mode. the location for this AI boss will change each time you enter the match and will be marked with a yellow circle with a nuclear symbol in the middle of the map.

Players will spawn far off this spot and will have to make their way to the spot at the earliest. To do that look for a vehicle as soon as the game starts. Look around for a gas mask and have enough ammunition. When inside the radiation zone, players will see a mark which will show where the chemist is. Running him over with a car is the best way to kill him. After the Chemist is killed, he will drop the M13B. Collect the gun and get to the nearest Exfil location. Players will receive the M13B after they are successfully extracted.

Another easier way will require a friend who has the M13B already unlocked. Go into the DMZ mode and exchange guns with the other players. Successfully extract from the DMZ map and the player will automatically get the new M13B gun with little to no effort. The gun can be bought through the store as well, and players will have to purchase one of the bundles for the M13B Assault rifle.
