100 Thieves reveals Valorant roster ahead of VCT 2022

100 Thieves reveals Valorant roster ahead of VCT 2022

100T

100T has been a consistent name in the Valorant professional competitive scene for a considerable period of time, falling short just at that crucial moment before the title. This time though, 100T will be trying to make it all the way, and given how their present roster is shaping up, there appears no doubt about their success.

The VCT 2023 partnership program has teams such as NRG, Cloud9, and Sentinels, so it is by no means going to be a cakewalk for this team. This is especially since Cloud9 has gone ahead and secured the services of El Diablo from OpTic Gaming this time. Sentinels with TenZ is appearing pretty amazing and NRG has signed Thwifo. With Seangares retiring as the coach, Mikes will take the helm this time.

As revealed by the team, the 100T roster consists of the following players:

  • Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk
  • Derrek “Derrek” Ha
  • Brenden “stellar” McGrath
  • Matthew “Cryocells” Panganiban
  • Sean “bang” Bezerra

The roster has remained relatively similar to the one last year, with the new addition of Cryocells. 100T has been able to nab him after his parent team XSET was unable to secure a place within the partnership program for VCT 2023. Cryocells takes the place of Will, who is currently inactive and searching for offers.

Stellar, as always, will be the IGL playing controllers initiators, Bang and Derek will stick to the support role, be it the controller or sentinel as the map demands. Obviously, as one of the best duelists in the game, Asuna needs no introduction, playing duelists like Neon or Raze, but is also willing to take the supporting role of KAY/O or Skye if the team demands. However, 100T is yet to announce the sixth member of their squad.

VCT 2023: What do we know about it?

This time around, VCT has introduced stricter rules for partner teams, with six players in the main roster as the minimum requirement and ten as the maximum. This new tournament will find 100T trying to cope without their talismanic coach Seangares, who had decided to step down to pursue content creation.

The deadline for submitting the final roster for the partnered teams are 31st October, so there is not too much time left for 100T to announce their final member. The tournament is scheduled to kick off on February 2023, and everyone will turn to 100T’s Asuna to secure their victory in the tournament.
