All qualified teams for Skyesports Valorant Champions Series (SCS) 2022
Skyesports Valorant Champions series is set to get in action this month, the tournament is only for South Asian teams. A few days ago Riot announce their VCT Stage 2 South Asian Challengers partnered with Skyesports. Before this riot hosted VCC (Valorant Conquerors Championship) in association with NODWIN Gaming, but this time they approach Skyesports for hosting the Official tournament in the region.
“The Skyesports Champions Series (SCS) is a Tier-1 VALORANT event in South Asia and serves as the regional qualifiers for the APAC VCT Challengers Stage 2.” The tournament is going to be the sole event and the top two teams will represent the region in the APAC Stage 2 Challengers. The event is split into 3 phases first is Qualifiers for India and the rest of South Asia, the second Group Stage League, and the Playoffs.

A total of eight teams are already qualified for the group stage because of their results in VCT 2022 Stage 1. They will be joined by the other 4 teams which are qualifying from the qualifier rounds India and the rest of South Asia. Fans are waiting for their favorite teams to get in action and compete with each other.
Here is the all the qualified teams from Stage 1 South Asia Valorant Champions Tour in SCS:
- Velocity Gaming (India)
- Global Esports (India)
- Enigma Gaming (India)
- Full Power Gaming (Pakistan)
- Revenant Esports (India)
- Exceeli Esports (Bangladesh)
- Khumbu Esports (Nepal)
- Union Gaming (Sri Lanka)
Team Revenant Esports and Full Power Gaming are new organizations that are qualified because of the players who compete in the VCC 2022 VCT Stage 1 and went into the playoffs. God Particles is now known as Revenant Esports and Team Exploit is now a Full Power Gaming.
Schedule and Formate:
1. Formate Of the Tournament – This time accept India all the other countries going to play just one qualifier but India has a separate regional qualifier. Then qualified teams from the regional qualifiers will go to the group stage league where teams are divided into 2 groups and each group has six teams in its round-robin groups.
After this 6 teams are gonna continue their journey in the playoffs, the top 3 teams from each group. Grand final playoffs are a double-elimination format, and all the matches are Bo3 and Grand Final is Bo5.
2. Regional Registration Date & Qualifiers Date –
- Online Qualifiers – Single elimination format and Bo3 matches except for the grand final which will be Bo5. 3 players of a roaster should be residents of India for registering in India qualifiers. Min 3 players of the team should be residents of South Asia for registering in the rest of the South Asia Qualifiers. The dates are the India qualifier from May 9 to May 15 and rest South Asia qualifiers from May 9 to May 16, Draw Show on May 17.
- Group Stage League – Top 2 teams from each qualifier: 4 teams in total, will be joining 8 teams from VCC Stage 1 Grand Finals playoffs. A total of 12 teams will be split into 2 groups of 6 teams each.
- Teams will play a single round-robin format in their respective groups. Each match will be Bo3 and the top 3 teams from both groups will qualify for the playoffs. The dates of the group stage are May 19 to May 24.
- Playoffs – A total of 6 teams from the group stage league are seeded into the grand finals playoffs. It’s a double-elimination format, and all matches will be Bo3 except the grand final which is Bo5. The dates are May 31 to June 4th.
- Grand Final – In the grand final top two teams of the tournament will fight for the championship title and both teams are already qualified for the APAC Stage 2 Challengers. The grand final is Bo5 and the date is June 5th.
