Detonation announces Valorant Roster for VCT Pacific League 2023
DetonatioN Gaming
With the deadline fast approaching for the final day to confirm the Valorant roster of partnered teams participating in the VCT Pacific League, most of the teams are still running around to gather the minimum roster requirements. Detonation, on the other hand has gone ahead and confirmed their roster, making them one of the fastest organizations to do so this season, even before NRG Esports and other big shots in the League.
This time though, Detonation will enter the arena as giant killers, with the potential of taking down the top teams with strategy-based gameplay. This Japanese outfit has always been known for success in other gaming titles, and DetonatioN will be hoping to add Valorant to that long list repertoire with this newly assembled squad.

Seo “Suggest” Jae-young, Ryumon “Reita” Oshiro, Tomoki “xnfri” Moriya, Anthem, Sang-min “Seoldam” Park, and Shogo “takej” Takemori will be on the roster for the 2023 Pacific League season. Hae-seong “hsk” Kim and Hirotaka “Melofovia” Okazak will act as the coach and the assistant coach respectively. Moving in after participating in First Strike Japan where they finished fourth, and in VCT Japanese Circuit 20211 where they were unable to proceed to the main event, DetonatioN is finally back with an agenda to prove this time.
Detonation has gathered a mighty impressive squad, and for a team that is not really known all that much for it’s Valorant roster as it is for other popular gaming titles, they are doing a great job. Seoldam is going to be the ace-in-the-hole for this team, returning to the competitive scene one last time. Seoldam had earlier retired, however, decided to make his return to DetonatioN Gaming. Anthem is probably going to be the chamber main in the squad, with the ability to one-tap enemies both with the operator and the Headhunter.

Takej and Reita will probably, therefore, take up the controller slot, allowing for smoother entry onto the sites for their teams. Xnfri will play the duelist and there are no two ways about it. As the most successful player in the squad, proceeding to VCT Masters Stage 2 in 2022, Xnfri will have the largest impact in the game.
With a squad strong enough to even compete against some of the strongest in the league, DetonatioN this time around is gearing up to make some noise in the VCT Pacific League, and this might just turn out to be the year that their gamble pays off.
