Valorant fans request Riot to bring CS:GO feature for AFK players
Valorant is a 5v5 first-person shooting game, it launched in mid-2020 from that time the game has gained a massive fan following and has millions of player bases on the daily basis.
The millions of fans suggested many ideas to Riot for making the game better and better, like the highly-anticipated replay mode, and alternating skin between sides and one of them is bringing CS:GO feature for AFK players, which allows players to control the character of the AFK teammate.

Valorant demand for controlling AFK player’s agent
On May 28, Valorant fan ShisokuSeku suggested the idea of controlling the AFK player’s agent on Reddit, she shared by saying the favorite thing in CS:GO you can control the AFK player’s character after death and Riot should bring this feature to the game.
She stated: “One of my favorite features from CS:GO were the bots. They legit made AFK’s feel so much less bad,” and continued
“For those who don’t know, bots would stay in a position if you told them to, and once you died, you could take control of them,” they explained. “I kinda wish Valorant had this feature. CS:GO removed it because people would vote out teammates just to take control of bots.
“Since Valorant doesn’t have a voting system like this, I’d love to see a control AFK-players character type feature. You’d still be at a disadvantage since you need to move the bot from spawn, but it raises your chances of success tremendously.”
However, many other fans liked the idea and praised it, but the majority of fans disagreed with the idea of controlling the AFK player’s agent after their death. They said “You really don’t want to incentivize people to abuse the DC/AFK system for their advantage. There are quite a few smurfs, and if you are on the 5v4 team, it would suck to know that even if you kill their best player,”
Furthermore, they also love the idea of devs that having an AFK player in your team you will receive extra credits to purchase guns or the abilities “I think Valorant made this system really good. You get bonus credits, an ultimate orb, and armor during pistol rounds. That’s much better than a bot AFK in spawn like in CS:GO,”
The devs always read ideas given by their fans and try to implement them into the game to make it better for the players. There is not a possibility that they bring this idea soon or in the future if they bring it that going to be seen what the feature effect the Valorant for better or worse, and fans may be demanding to bring the old feature.
