The error code 62 basically means that your connection is unable to send data back to the Valorant servers, resulting in an absence of game accessibility. One explanation for this is that a faulty start of the Riot Client or a forcible shutdown, while the game was upgrading, may also trigger it. When you launch the Riot Client, your game begins connecting with the servers. If this communication becomes clogged, the Valorant Error Code 62 will be generated.

If the issue is triggered by an update pushed by Riot Games that was issued while you were playing, simply reboot your game, and it should immediately download whatever outstanding fixes that are requisite. The download errors might occur a couple of times for some cases making it necessary to restart the entire system once.
Running the game as admin may temporarily resolve error 62. The issues typically arise when Riot Games releases an update or when the application servers undergo downtime. Such little edges might cause major problems for the competitors. Riot Games is quite active in server maintenance, although occasional difficulties still occur.
If your regional server is down, you may try connecting to another Valorant server. You’ll need to use a VPN and select a region different than your own. If neither of these alternatives works, you must execute the following chain command: Windows key > command key (permit changes) > Enter “ipconfig/flushdns” and hit Enter > Enter the command “ipconfig/registerdns” > Enter “ipconfig /release” and hit Enter > Enter “ipconfig /renew” and hit Enter > Enter “netsh winsock reset” into the command line. After that, a simple PC restart will resolve Error 62 and allow you to continue playing your game.
