How to execute Harbor Wall on Icebox in Valorant

Harbor

Episode 5 Act 3 has found gamers clamoring for Harbor in Valorant and using him to the best of what could be in this short period of time. It is only natural to try and learn Harbor as a method of taking up space since his utility allows him to aggressively take control of the site while his teammates are fragging out and making their entry into the site. Since Harbor joins the severely understaffed controller category and most of the controllers are map-specific, Harbor might just be looking at that one universal controller slot that can probably be run on any map.

Harbor’s natural game is more so on the defensive side, rather than taking on aggressive fragging or attack-based gameplay. As a supporting agent, Harbor is supposed to take up space in the map, making it more difficult for his enemies to move and in turn turning him into a nuisance to play against.

High tide is Harbor’s signature ability and recharges after every two kills, allowing him to smoke off several chokepoints at once, making it difficult for opponents to hold off crucial angles and allowing better entry into sites. Two of these setups can completely cover up the entire site for an attack at both sites.

Site A Attack

Site A is difficult to execute, since there is almost always a guy on the pipes and rafters, making it even more difficult if the opposite side has a Chamber with an operator. However, for this smoke, enter the site and line up your cursor parallelly to the straight line in front. Turning it, you can cover the entirety of Site A rafters as well as the back site, therefore having lesser angles to clear and making site executes far cleaner and easier.

Site B Attack

Site is far simpler since it does not need any fancy curves or similar things. Simply place your cursor from B entry to the kitchen vent for a clear bifurcation of the site. This is probably the easiest and yet the most effective way to cover up a site.

Using Harbor might appear a bit difficult in the initial stages, but once Harbor’s abilities are mastered, he can be used in a variety of maps with equally impressive results for a strong fragging-out option. Alternatively, his site-holding abilities take up a lot of space, so feel free to experiment with his abilities as well.
