Indian Valorant YouTuber commits suicide over depression

Valorant content creator SeLflo YT commits suicide

A popular Indian YouTuber who creates content for Riot Game’s first-person-shooter game Valorant, recently uploaded a suicide note on his social media account. Moments later, he was found dead after he ended his life by jumping from a high rise building in Hyderabad.

YouTube content creators of Valorant often become helpful to the players as they help them to know about the new features of a particular update and upload strategy guides for the game. However, it is really shocking when a known creator commits suicide.

Valorant content creator jumps to death after penning ‘suicide’ note

The YouTuber SeLflo had over 30K subscribers on his channel. One would often find him being the first one to cover the patch notes of an update and also inform the players about recent nerfs on agents or leaked images regarding weapon skins and more. His channel has over 12 million views and now his death has shocked the entire Valorant community.

C “SeLflo” Dheena was pursuing a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology and Management, Gwalior (IIITM) and was suffering from depression as stated in his ‘suicide note’. The incident occurred on Thursday after the YouTuber uploaded a video stating that he decided to end his life. The video has however been taken down by the authorities.

He also put up a tweet on his Twitter account with the caption ‘finale’ where he wrote a long paragraph about how he is unable to come over from his depression and anxiety-

"I've suffered all my life, beginning childhood till now. And it's time i part ways with the world, for i can no longer bear being stuck in this loop of depression, sadness & anger anymore."

The Valorant content creator even mentioned the name of ImperialHal in his suicide note and some other YouTubers as those were the only people that kept him pushing in his life. While SeLFlo has mentioned that he took his life due to his traumatic life, others are claiming that the creator didn’t get much views from his channel.

This seems unlikely, considering that he was quite popular among the Indian Valorant content creators. He even mentioned “Goodbye Valorant, Jett please don’t revive me”. The entire community is shocked to see that a fellow YouTuber was forced to take such drastic step.
