Since its founding and its inclusion in Valorant, Team Liquid has qualified for multiple international VCT tournaments and has faced North American teams head-on thrice. The team has a 2-1 record versus North American opponents, with its lone road loss versus Version1 at VCT Masters 2 in 2021. However, ScreaM made some speculations and comments saying that NA teams might not just be the best out there.

Sixteen of the world’s finest Valorant groups have qualified and will compete to be the best team in the league of Champions 2022. As the VCT Championships 2022 approach, the competitors are hard at work preparing to demonstrate the best of what the game’s competitive arena has got to offer. Although, a recent comment from one of the best teams in Valorant said something that NA teams might want to worry about.

ScreaM rated EMEA and APAC higher than the NA teams in Valorant

Apparently, the fragger from Team Liquid aka ScreaM when asked about his thoughts over regions and teams that are taking part in the VCT 2022 Champions tournament, ScreaM confirmed that his views on NA teams is not as good as it should be. “I wouldn’t rate NA right now as one of the best regions,” ScreaM said at the pre-event press conference.

“I think EMEA, APAC, you know, are better”, said ScreaM when asked about his views on Valorant. ScreaM also mentioned two specific organizations from the North American region at Champions: OpTic Gaming as well as 100 Thieves. He called OpTic a “superb group” and commended 100 Thieves for their current performance in the North American Final Chance Qualification.

ScreaM also mentioned two specific organizations from the North American region at Champions: OpTic Gaming as well as 100 Thieves. He called OpTic a “superb team” as well as commended 100 Thieves for their actual performance in the North American Final Chance Qualification. “I believe 100 Thieves verified genuinely positive things in LCQ,” said the Belgian player. ScreaM’s squad will face the South American game in the top round of the day on the opening day of the tournament, August 31.

Valorant’s competitive has been a good run so far and there have been a lot of teams in this and in the Champions 2022 tournament Istanbul. We have a lot to expect and a lot to experience throughout this tournament of VCT 2022 Istanbul.
