Valorant

Valorant’s VCT Pacific 2023 is almost here, and after the deadline of 31st October, the participating teams and their rosters have finally been revealed by Riot. Fans have been waiting to find out who their favorite teams have signed this season, especially since VCT Pacific this time is going to be an invite-only partnered team tournament.

T1 is the first partnered team, with a roster boasting of players such as Ban, Beomjun, MuchKin, Sayaplayer, and ex-Cloud9 ace Xeta. Zeta Division, having changed its name from Jupiter, is hoping to make a mark in this tournament with Brace, Crow, Dep, Laz, SugarZ3ro, and Tennn. Team Secret is no slouch in this department since they have signed Borkum, Jessievash, Dubstep, Jermy, Invy, and Lenne to compete against their all-time rivals in the tournament Paper Rex who have decided to go with D4v41, Mindfreak, Benkai, JinGG, CGRS and obviously their IGL Forsaken.

RRG is trying to take this division by surprise, signing decorated IGL FL1PZJDER to lead their team that also boasts the likes of 2GE and Ejay. Talon had ex-Guard player Foxz and a relatively younger squad, and DRx has made the shrewd signing of Zest and Mako to combine. King, Ts, and Secret will field for Gen.G this season, Global Esports have named SKRossi in their roster despite him taking some time off this season.

However, as the real kings of this division, Detonation Gaming will bear the burden of expectations, and have prominent names like Anthem, Seoldam, and XNFRI in their roster. While DNG is obviously the champions-elect, DRX can emerge as the dark horse in this tournament.

100T has gone ahead and revealed their entire roster for the upcoming VCT 2023, although they are yet to add their sixth player. The current 100T roster appears like:

  • Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk
  • Derrek “Derrek” Ha
  • Brenden “stellar” McGrath
  • Matthew “Cryocells” Panganiban
  • Sean “bang” Bezerra

With Seangares stepping down as the head coach to pursue content creation, Mikes will be taking up the role of the new head coach. 100T has retained most of its roster, with Cryocells being the only notable signing to replace Sam who is not an inactive member and searching for a different franchise.

While 100T are yet to confirm their final member, it will be interesting to find out if they decide to include an Overwatch pro within their ranks as rumored. Whatever the case is, 100T will be one of the primary teams to be wary of ahead of VCT Americans this season.
