Shroud “definitely” wants to compete for the Sentinels in Valorant Competitive

Shroud definitely wants to join in for Valorant esports in the upcoming years

Although his time with Sentinels was brief, Michael “shroud” Grzesiek is keen to perform at the highest level in Valorant and has already redoubled his efforts to play a little more competitively in the near future. The CS:GO God is pumped up to take part in the upcoming VCT Championships and is enthusiastic to be a part of the competitive tiers.

When shroud briefly joined the Sentinels roster in Riot’s tactical fps game: Valorant, the North American Last Chance Qualifier for VCT, he not only attracted attention with his razor-sharp abilities but also a huge audience. The inclusion of ‘shroud’ in this game boosted a lot of audiences and everyone was happy to see the CS:GO champion does his best!

During a live stream, shroud stated in a frustrated tone that he finds this game suitable for competitive matches and does not really want to play the same old ranked and unrated modes of the game. “Competing in this game is so different from playing this sh*t,” he stressed. “Ranked, who the f**k cares? This sh*t is ass”, a frustrated yet enthusiastic Shroud said during the live stream.

It’s unclear at this time what team he might join or when we’ll get to see him play again in the competitive arena. Which clubs could be able to gain a position in the new system is still up in the air, given how significantly the Valorant environment will change during the upcoming offseason as Riot shifts to a partnership model. Despite the casual streams, Shroud is definitely looking forward to some competitive challenges in this game.

It is clear that despite the LCQ losses from both The Guard and 100 Thieves, shroud is still looking forward to improving and challenging the Valorant competitive arena instead of grinding the game in the same old unrated and ranked modes. Shroud, on the other hand, is keen to advance in pro-Valorant if he can join an LA-based team. He earlier remarked that there’s a very strong possibility he’ll continue if it’s in LA, which is where he lives right now. From his point of view, participating on the online ladder as a member of a unified team as opposed to a loose bunch is a distinct feeling.
