Valorant Game Changers Championship 2022: Slots, Date, and more

Valorant Game Changers Championship 2022 is a women’s tournament. The Riot officials announce its information and reveals how many slots will be distributed amongst the selective regions for the championship.

The Valorant GC arrive once again and this time it’s going to be a LAN event where teams from around the world are going to compete and try to get the crown on their head.

The Game Changers initiation is already started in 2021, to empower women’s esports. It’s a good initiative made by the Riot and this time they again bring back the tournament. This time Valorant Game Changers is going to be a global championship and teams from around the world compete for the championship title.

The tournament is going to be held in Berlin from November 15 to 20. Total top 8 teams from around the world compete at LAN for the championship title. Slots have been already distributed by the Riot.

  • North America: 2 slots
  • Brazil: 1 slot
  • LATAM: 1 slot
  • EMEA: 2 slots
  • East Asia: 1 slot
  • APAC: 1 slot

From every region, the winner will qualify for the champions tour, except for NA and EMA regions because from there will 2 teams qualify for the champions one is the winner of course, and the second, would be the runner-ups.

The format of the event is not revealed by the officials but by seeing 8teams, it’s going to double-elimination format and every team is going to play the Bo3 series with each other. The grand finals are going to be a best of five series where the first team who wins three maps will be crowned the champions.

This is the first in the history of valorant that a women’s tournament is going to be held, in the back 2021 only teams play their regional championships only, but this time officials decided to uplift the competition of the game.
