The Riot Games reveal the schedule of the VCT APAC Stage 2 Challengers 2022 Playoffs. The event is going to start later this month, finalist of this event is going to represent the APAC region at masters 2.

The regional qualifiers are going on in every region for the APAC playoffs. Hundreds of teams participated across all the regions to compete in the multi-country tournament VCT (Valorant Champions Tour) APAC Stage 2 Challengers.

The format of the stage 2 challengers are same as the stage 1 challengers. There is going to be Play-in in which there are going to be 2 groups divided into which those teams are who came 2nd position In regional finals.

Then comes Group Stage every 2 teams from every group playing are straight-headed towards the group stage, where 4 groups are divided and every top 2 teams from every group will head towards the playoffs. And ultimately two finalists get the spot in the Masters 2.

  • Play-In: June 9th – 12th, 2022
    • Two double-elimination formats (GSL) groups
      • 8 Low Seed teams
      • Each group has 4 teams
      • All matches are Bo3
    • Top two teams from each group advance to the Group Stage
  • Group Stage: June 15th – 20th, 2022
    • Four double-elimination formats (GSL) groups
      • 12 High Seed teams, 4 Play-In teams
      • Each group has 4 teams
      • All matches are Bo3
    • Top two teams from each group advance to the Playoffs
  • Playoffs: June 23rd – 26th, 2022
    • Double-Elimination bracket
    • The top two teams will qualify for Stage 2 Masters
