Popular Warzone 2 player Aydan to move away from the game

Competitive Warzone player Aydan took to Twitter to announce that he would be stepping away from making Warzone content. If you follow the Call of Duty scene, Aydan is very popular name. He has played the game competitively since 2018 and streams regularly.

Aydan is not the first to make such announcement. Call of Duty veteran Methodz too called it quits not too long ago after a decade. Spratt, the legendary Call of Duty sniper, famous for his quick scopes and montages also left after more than 10 years of grinding. It’s safe to say that Warzone is starting to bore some people due to lack of new content, so they are quitting for other games.

Aydan to focus on other games instead of Warzone

On March 27, Aydan announced that he was moving away from creating Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 content. He also mentioned he will take a break from the competitive scene. One of the most well-known players, Aydan has earned around $400,000 in prize money. This places him one of the top earners from the competitive scene.

Aydan expressed his disappointments about the game saying the game has become stale. He also stated that the new Warzone 2.0 failed to live up to the hype so far. He also pointed out that the competitive side of the game is a super let down. Due to lack of new content, he said it was becoming hard to make new YouTube or TikTok videos.

Aydan stated, “Wagers are super dead.” There were only few big tournaments recently with prize pool being quite low and not that rewarding according to him.

As for what he is going to do next, he said he would take up Fortnite Creative 2.0 and even stream few other games as well. He will primarily focus on Ranked play and even make content.

Fans and fellow gamers show support

Several fans and fellow streamers flooded Aydan’s post, suggesting other gameshe could try out whil ehe was looking for a change from Warzone. James – JGOD replied on Aydan’s Twitter post, suggesting that he should switch to Destiny 2.

Aydan expressed his views of having fun while streaming is a big component for regular streaming. Even though Aydan’s announcement of temporarily suspending Warzone content, he did not mention that he will not return in the future. Fans will miss his CoD exploits but, in the meantime, will get to see how he fares in other games.
