TwitchCon is an international convention hosted by a subsidiary of the live-streaming giant Twitch Interactive. The event celebrates the general culture of live-streaming and video gaming. TwitchCon is generally held twice a year and is attended by more than 20,000 people each time. The latest TwitchCon is being held in Las Vegas over a three-day period between Oct 20-22, and popular streamer Adin Ross also arrived to attend the event.

The first day of TwitchCon was doing rounds on the internet for the “perfect proposal” by Lowco TV. The event seems to be in the news again today but for something much more controversial. Adin Ross was asked to leave the event soon after coming to it. Adin was permanently banned from Twitch a few months ago. It is unclear as to why he was banned; a Twitch spokesperson said the reason for banning Adin was hateful conduct.

Ever since being kicked off of Twitch, Adin Ross has been streaming on Kick. In fact, this entire situation was being streamed live on his Kick channel. Adin Ross, along with his accomplices and bodyguard, sneaks into TwitchCon. He is intentionally wearing sunglasses and a cap to hide his identity as much as possible. Adin and his friend are also wearing a T-shirt and cap with the Kick logo on it. As Adin enters the premises, he looks excited and wishes to meet the Twitch CEO.

Security kicked out Adin Ross of TwitchCon 2023

A few seconds after Adin takes off his sunglasses, an old man who appears to be a TwitchCon employee approaches him. The man asks Adin to leave the event. Adin was shocked by the request and said, “For what? What did we do? I’ve been here for five seconds. I paid! I’m just here to support Twitch.” The employee does not respond to anything that Adin says. The entire conversation takes place as the man continues to escort Adin and his accomplices out of the building.

As the group starts to get close to the exit doors, Adin pauses as a group of people surround him. Adin said, “Alright, I’ma go away. But what did I do?” The TwitchCon employee steps closer to Adin to take his badge, but Adin steps away and tells the man not to touch him. Seeing this, Adin’s bodyguard steps in between the two individuals.

Seeing the situation, a police officer steps into the scene. Eventually, the employee turned around and said to Adin, “You violated Twitch’s code of conduct.” Adin, in turn, asked, “What is the code of conduct?“. As more and more TwitchCon employees gather at the scene, they ask him to figure it out on his own.

Adin, keeping his patience, again asked, “I just want to know what I did. There’s a bunch of ToS. What did I violate?” The employee responds by saying that he doesn’t know. The police officer stepped into the situation and asked the group about an agreement, but they said they did not sign anything.

Eventually, Adin agreed to leave. As the group begins to leave, an employee at the gate tells them they are being kicked out for wearing a Kick T-shirt. There were rumours in the past about Twitch unbanning Adin Ross following the record-breaking Kim Jong-un stream but now Adin might not give Twitch a try after this type of treatment.
