The concept of swatting has existed ever since live streaming became a popular thing. Swatting involves making a hoax call to the police or emergency services. A person deceives the emergency services into thinking that some severe crime or tense situation is happening at some famous person’s home.

The police generally follow regular protocol, hearing the seriousness of the situation, which typically involves sending SWAT teams, hence the name. They break into the house, causing tons of damage and creating pandemonium as they believe a severe threat is involved. It has even led to people being hurt or killed. Many famous streamers such as xQc, Adin Ross and ImperialHal have been swatted live on stream.

IShowSpeed recently bought a new mansion worth over $10 million. He shifted to his new house recently, but his housewarming may not have gone as planned. On November 20th, IShowSpeed was swatted into his new home. Understandably, he freaked out, took off his headphones and went to handle the situation.

This comes a few months after he was swatted on his 20 million subscriber stream. He then took to Snapchat to warn his viewers about the dangers of swatting. Many streamers have also come out to call for preventing such acts.

IShowSpeed gets swatted AGAIN in his new home

IShowSpeed was on stream talking to people on Ome.TV, a website similar to Omegle. He took off his headset as he heard a commotion outside his house. Speed called his assistant, Slipz, and let users listen to his conversation with the police to handle the situation. He was surprised as the incident took place so soon after the first time and even wanted to quit YouTube because he couldn’t deal with it anymore.

Fans could hear bits of the conversation outside during this incident. Slipz explained that when they first moved to the new house, they informed the police department who IShowSpeed was and that such situations had happened to him before. He added how, regardless of this, the police pulled. assault rifles on both Speed and him.

“When we first moved in, one of the first things we did was to inform the police department and let them know who is here and why they are here, this is what’s going on, this has happened before. It still happened. It happened two days ago! I was sitting in the yard and got ARs pulled on me, he got AR pulled on him.”

Slipz also took to social media after the incident to express his frustration. He simply tweeted out a facepalm and a middle finger emoji. Many of Speed’s fans also expressed their distaste for such an act and causing an unnecessary headache for Speed to deal with. Fans suggest that Speed should be whitelisted and such calls should be ignored. However, this can prove dangerous for Speed and his neighbours if a real threat were to occur in the area.
