The TV show South Park is notorious for its parodies and hilarious imitations of real-life personas and celebrities. These celebrities include Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lopez, and Kanye West. With internet celebrities becoming more mainstream, the TV Show did not hold back when mocking social media superstars Logan Paul and KSI.
In the latest South Park particular, “Not suitable for children”, the famous show looks at PRIME Energy Drink and its co-founders, KSI and Logan Paul. Paramount+ has created an episode where a teacher at South Park Elementary is found to have an OnlyFans page. This prompts Randy to investigate the world of online influencers.
The popular PRIME drink is rebranded as “CRED” in the episode to avoid copyright issues. Many comparisons can be drawn between the drink in the show and PRIME. Its marketing and packaging mainly feature the same bright colors and bold font as they appear on real-life product. The episode also features a character called “Logan LeDouche,” an obvious parody of Logan Paul.
The episode’s premise revolves around the drink’s popularity among young fans of Logan Paul and KSI, despite their being underage for its consumption. This narrative also justifies the episode’s title, “Not Suitable for Children.” Logan LeDouche is seen promoting CRED throughout the episode.

Clyde can be seen watching a vlog in the episode where LoganLeDouche appears. The vlog starts with a motivational speech that soon becomes an ad for the drink. The vlog is portrayed as a ploy so Logan LeDouche can sell his energy drink. The intensity of the commercial mirrors the high energy of Logan Paul throughout.

He makes exaggerated claims about CRED, such as its 100% sugar-free status and having more vitamin A than a body could ever use. The ad ends with the tagline, “Drink CRED at your school today.” It is hilariously followed by a disclaimer that says the drink is unsuitable for children. The episode comically suggests that someone not drinking CRED is perceived as lesser.
South Park uses their classic style of hyperbole and absurdity to mock real-life issues and personalities. The episode is designed to offer a critical lens on online personalities’ influence on children and their marketing strategies. The South Park special is filled with satirical commentary on the issue. This is something that the show has constantly done throughout its run.
