A video of Adin Ross being kicked out of TwitchCon recently went viral on Twitter. The situation took place during day two of the most recent TwitchCon, which was held in Las Vegas. Adin Ross had snuck into the event wearing a Kick T-shirt and covering his face with sunglasses and Kick caps. Not five minutes after he took off his glasses, TwitchCon employees asked him to leave the event.

It is important to note that Adin Ross had been banned from Twitch a few months before the event. Adin has since switched to streaming on Kick. While he kept asking TwitchCon employees why he was being kicked out of the event, they kept their mouths shut. The situation escalated after a security guard approached Adin to remove his badge.

To calm down the situation, the employees told Adin he was being kicked out for violating Twitch guidelines, although they refused to say to him which guideline he had violated. While leaving the event upon orders from a police officer, a TwitchCon security guard told Adin that he was being kicked out for wearing a Kick T-shirt.

The CEO of Twitch, Daniel Clancy, recently went live on Twitch for a Q&A session. It was inevitable that someone would bring up the situation and ask questions about it. It appears that fans finally have official answers regarding everything that went down.

Authorities asked Adin Ross to leave TwitchCon due to his Twitch ban

During the stream, somebody asked the Twitch CEO why four individuals wearing Kick T-shirts were asked by Twitch personnel to leave. He responded,

It had nothing to do with their T-shirts. Actually, there were a lot of folks inside that had Kick T-shirts.” This statement rings quite true. In the video of Adin being kicked out, you can spot many people who are not associated with Adin and his crew wearing Kick T-shirts.

Daniel further continued,

It was because they fraudulently obtained the tickets. We have policies around… If you’re permanently banned, then you can’t get a ticket. So they used false accounts to get the tickets, and it is part of the agreement that when you get the tickets, you will not be falsely identifying yourself. So that’s why they took the action. I’m not going to go into a lot more detail.”

This statement is quite hypocritical from him. Towards the end of the clip, where Adin is being kicked out, fans can spot a security guard also kicking out an individual wearing a Kick T-shirt but not affiliated with Adin and his crew. An interesting coincidence about this situation is that when Adin entered the venue for TwitchCon, one of the first things he said was that he could not wait to meet the Twitch CEO.
