Muudea Sedik, popularly known as Twomad on YouTube, passed away recently. Twomad started his career on YouTube with video game commentaries. He eventually pivoted to comedy sketches in 2020 and amassed over 2 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, posting a variety of gaming, comedy and IRL content.

Twomad still regularly streamed Overwatch 2 on his Twitch channel. Twomad’s YouTube career has had a severe downfall over the past year. Twomad stopped posting entirely on his main channel and switched to posting more reaction-based videos without posting any original content on his second channel. His views dropped tremendously, and many people complained about the form of content he was posting.

Although he was relatively active on social media platforms such as X, the internet personality had not uploaded anything to his YouTube channel in nearly half a year. In June 2023, he was also accused of sexual assault by a fan who claimed that the YouTuber had been stalking him for months.

Twomad found unresponsive in his apartment by the LAPD

It was reported that Twomad had not been in contact with anyone for several days. He had missed several of his scheduled appointments. The Los Angeles Police Department conducted a welfare check on February 13th, 2024. The police found his body in his Los Angeles apartment, with the YouTuber unresponsive.

According to the Medical Examiner’s Office of Los Angeles, Twomad passed away on February 13th, with the cause of his death unknown. However, police reports suggested that drug paraphernalia was found at his apartment. Drug paraphernalia is a term used to describe equipment or accessories used to manufacture or use drugs.

The death is now being investigated as a possible overdose. The police also noted that no foul play or outside factors are suspected in Twomad’s death. Many streamers, such as xQc reacted to this death and were devastated by hearing the news.
