Ronaldo has been downgraded again

Cristiano Ronaldo’s FIFA 23 ranking has plummeted since his December 30 transfer to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr. The five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or now has a FIFA 23 rating of 88. One of the players with the highest ratings in the FIFA game is Ronaldo.

Ronaldo’s ranking has decreased since FIFA 19, steadily dropping one point yearly. He began FIFA 23 with a rating of 90, and his overall rating has been affected by the termination of his contract with Manchester United, his lacklustre performances at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and his transfer to the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.

For the first time since FIFA 11, the former Real Madrid player’s FIFA 23 rating has now dropped to 88, falling below 90. Since receiving a rating of 87 in 2007, this is his lowest FIFA rating.

The 37-year- old’s dribbling skill is now 81 instead of 84. His stamina rating has also suffered (it is now only 70), four points lower than it was at release. Ronaldo was among the top ten players in FIFA 23 at the time of the game’s release.

He is removed off the coveted list by his most recent rating. Only the Career Mode will show Ronaldo’s revised rating. The FIFA 23 Ultimate Team (FUT) game won’t be impacted.

Rudi Garcia, the manager of Al-Nassr, thinks Cristiano Ronaldo’s signing is a major milestone for Saudi Arabian football. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s arrival, in the manager’s opinion, will advance football in the nation.

Ronaldo has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Al-Nassr. According to BBC, the Portugal captain is set to earn around €200 million per year at the Saudi club.
