Fortnite has had many mainstream collaborations inside the game. Geoff Keighley, a popular Canadian video games journalist, has introduced The Game Awards in Fortnite. This does not come as much of a surprise.

The Game Awards recently announced their nominees for 2023. To promote the event, Fortnite and the Game Awards have come together for a collaboration. You can now vote for The Game Awards in Fortnite itself. The in-game vote centres around the category of “The Best Creator-Made Fortnite Island of the Year.”

Fortnite creators have made several creations inside the game, such as Roblox’s Brookhaven RP. Fans have appreciated The Game Awards for recognising their creativity. The category features ten nominees in competition for the best island made. To cast your vote, you must explore the game awards island in Fortnite and make your selection.

Other than the voting aspect, the Game Awards Island in Fortnite offers several interactive experiences for players to explore. There are multiple game award statues spread all over the island. You can collect these statues to earn XP boosts in the game. It also helps you progress your battle pass. This encourages players to explore the island rather than simply treating it as a voting platform.

Map Code for the Game Awards Island in Fortnite

The Game Awards Island in Fortnite went live on November 14th, 2023. It is accessible to all Fortnite players until December 5th, two days before the Game Awards ceremony on December 7th. To access the island, you can simply enter the code 0853-1358-8532 in-game and easily access the island. You can also access the island via the Discovery tab in Fortnite by following the given steps.

  • Launch Fortnite
  • Scroll down the Fortnite lobby onto the Discover menu
  • You may see the island in the Popular category
  • If not, you can search for the island by typing in “The Game Awards island.”
  • Launch the island by clicking on “Select.”

You must cast your vote before the Game Awards Island in Fortnite disappears. Each Epic ID is allowed one vote only. The winning island will be revealed alongside The Game Awards ceremony on December 7th, 2023.
