When does the Snow event end in GTA Online 2023?

Rockstar Games have been commemorating the Christmas holiday season since 2015. They did a terrific job in bringing snow to GTA online this year. It was started on 22 December 2022. Even if some GTA Online players find the winter season to be fascinating, one can surely worry about when the snow would stop falling. It has typically ended in early to mid-January in previous years, and 2023 won’t be much different. In fact, Rockstar’s Newswire post on December 29, 2022, makes a hint about when this weather will stop.

The Los Santos map is still covered in a thick white blanket with Grand Theft Auto players sliding around icy roads. With different events like The Gooch, The Die hard inspired The Weazel Plaza shootout, collectible snowman suit, and many free gifts, GTA Online players went berserk.

Some events like The Gooch and collectible snowman suit are supposed to end on January 11, 2023. However, it is worth noting that Janaury 12, 2023 is a Thursday, and Rockstar usually brings weekly updates on Thursday. So, players can expect that snow will end around 12 January 2023.

Snow has an impact on GTA Online’s overall look and driving conditions. By January 12, 2023, items like Christmas trees in a player’s property and the metallic variant at The Diamond Casino & Resort will no longer be there. And as a result, players won’t be able to use Snowball as a silly prank. It will also be easier to drive in GTA online as cars and bikes have bad grips on roads.

Snow events and weather last only for a few weeks. This beautiful season urges players to take pictures of their character and surrounding.

Well if you are not a fan of snow, there’s a trick to removing snow from the game. You have to do these steps:

  • Go to the Options menu and select online.
  • In the Options menu select Jobs, then select Play Job. After that, click on Rockstar Created and go to any Stunt Races you want.
  • Just drive a little around and again open the Options menu and scroll over to Friends.
  • Now, join any of your friend’s sessions and you will see snow is gone. Your friends in the session will be unaffected.
  • You can get snow back when you change the session.

There aren’t any significant brand-new winter-related events that have been introduced. The new year gifts which can be acquired by logging in any time between 29 December 2022 and 6 January 2023 are the only thing that has yet been added.
