Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world RPG in which you will learn to become a wizard, just like Harry Potter. Hogwarts Legacy features many side companions to interact within the game. Each will provide you with some side quests, which will reward you with some new spells or in-game perks. One of the companions you can go on adventures within Hogwarts Legacy is Sebastian Sallow.

Your companions will keep you company while you study at Hogwarts, enjoy a drink with you in Hogsmeade, and engage in combat with the wicked wizards and dangerous creatures of the wizarding world. In Hogwarts Legacy, you can befriend students from all four houses.

If you choose the path of a dark wizard, then you can befriend Sebastian, who will provide you with side quests that will unlock the Three Unforgivable Curses in the Wizarding World, i.e., Avada Kedavara, Crucio, and Imperio.

Each of these individuals has a distinct backstory. You will learn more about your companion’s backstory as you progress through Hogwarts Legacy.

Meet Sebastian Sallow in Hogwarts Legacy

Sebastian Sallow belongs to the Sallow wizarding family. He entered Hogwarts at the age of 11 and belongs to the Slytherin House. According to the Hogwarts Legacy developers, Sebastian is a charming and extroverted student who is hell-bent on helping his sister, Anne, who is suffering a mysterious curse.

After Sebastian and Anne’s parents passed away, Solomon Sallow, their uncle, looked after them. Ranrok and his followers raid their home, leaving Anne hurt and cursed. He has turned to learning the dark art of magic, as it might be his last hope for her sister. 

You will meet Sebastian in the Slytherin house, where he will talk to you briefly. He will take you to the undercroft and teach you the Confringo spell. Later, you will meet the Sallow magic family during the ‘In the Shadow of the Estate’ main quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Here you will come across Sebastian’s sad backstory and why he has indulged himself in the dark arts.

Sebastian will be waiting for you in the wooden tower in Feldcroft, the tiny settlement in the southwest of the map. He will ask you to accompany him as he goes to meet his uncle, his sister Anne, and them in the neighboring small cottage.
