VALORANT players can use Brimstone’s Stim Beacon to speed up Yoru’s Gatecrash ability, allowing it to reach its destination even faster.

The much-needed Yoru overhaul was delivered in Patch 4.04, allowing the struggling Duelist to become a viable option. Yoru received a new life-size decoy, and the Gatecrash ability’s speed was boosted, allowing players to teleport behind adversaries faster. Players can speed up the Gatecrash ability by using Brimstone’s Stim Beacon.

On demonstrate the standard speed of the Gatecrash ability, a VALORANT player submitted a brief video to Reddit in which they sent it without utilising the Stim Beacon. The Stim Beacon boosted the ability in the second clip, giving it a noticeable speed boost. When the clips were played side by side, it was clear that Brimstone’s assistance provided an extra lift.

With the addition of the Rapid Fire enhancement in Patch 4.04, Brimstone’s Stim Beacon becomes a stronger and more viable ability. His smokes have also been tweaked to improve their effectiveness, and the Controller, who has been struggling in the meta for months, is now getting some playtime.

Other players have noted that the Stim Beacon speeds up other abilities such as Sova’s drone, Raze’s boom bot, and Skye’s dog, so try it out in your next match. Although the extra speed is unlikely to make a big difference, it may be useful in some instances.
