Henry Cavill expressed his love for video games in an interview
Henry Cavill is one of the great names in Hollywood right now. He was previously known for playing Superman in the DC live action movies, but now he has done a role that has surpassed his previous one. Cavill is now more famous for playing the iconic character in Andrzej Sapkowski’s world-famous books series the Witcher. The character in question in the famous Geralt of Rivia who is also in the critically acclaimed video game series The Witcher.

How did Henry Cavill decide to play Geralt?
“Its one of the Highest selling games ever” Cavill is heard telling Norton when the latter asked him more about the video game series, “And I was a big fan of the game and that’s how I discovered it”. Hinting that Cavill was really interested in the role because of his love for the video game series.

He almost didn’t play superman because of World of Warcraft
World of warcraft can certainly be an addicting experience and Henry Cavill is no exception to this experience, he is an avid fan of the game and plays it in his free time. “You nearly lost quite an important job” Graham Norton is seen asking Cavill. “Absolutely yeah, I was playing a game called world of warcraft” Cavill replied and told him that he missed the call from Zack Synder telling him that he got superman.
“But like, did you hear the phone ringing?” Norton asked him and Cavill confirmed that he did, “But you chose to ignore it?”. “Absolutely” Cavill replied with a confident nod. Seems like Henry Cavill is a true gamer after all!
