Riot Games dropped another video for Valorant’s new initiator named “GEKKO”

Valorant New Initiator could have Pet the image indicates

Riot Games teased another video on Twitter about the upcoming new INITIATOR for Valorant named GEKKO. Riot earlier shared an image that is related to the agent. In the image, we can see two possible creature hands trying to grab a Boba drink in the left-hand corner. Since its inception, Valorant devs have added agents from almost all corners of the world to the game. The next agent which we might get to see unveiled during the final day at Valorant Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN Sao Paolo Brazil.

This initiator as Riot Dev John Goscicki explains will introduce new ways of clearing corners easily, getting into the site, and planting the spike. The agent could be from the Central American region possibly Mexico or Guatemala. The agent is male as Reyna refers to the New Agent GEKKO, as “him.” There seems to be a connection between Reyna and the new agent.

What we know so far about Valorant’s new Initiator, GEKKO

The wallpaper on the mobile phone from the video could indicate what the creature looks like. At the top of the screen, we see a message saying to pick up Tamales from MOM. Tamales are food items from Hispanic countries. So, it opens up the possibility for the Agent to be from that region. Now there’s another message from COACH which we are still unclear of who that is.

If we scroll down, we see 9 missed calls from Beard Papi, aka Brimstone. When you click on the video by Valorant Twitter you hear a song by Ericoda who according to his BIO is from Connecticut.

Riot Games has a history of releasing such song teasers before they unveil a new agent. They did something similar before the release of Harbor as well. Fans are speculating on what kind of an animal the aforementioned creature would be.

Just like Valorant released Harbor in a major tournament we could see the new agent as early as the 5th of March or in the next update of Chapter 6 Act 2.
