The story of the game is key to it all. The Survivor is based on the premise of Fallen Order. In the game, Cal will have to gather up new tools and companions and get stronger before taking the fight to the empire. The story of the game is devised such that it will make it insistent to gather and progress in the game with little to no supplies available.

The answer to that is quite simple, but very hard to get your hands on it. The answer is “Electric Darts,” which only a specific character BD-1 can shoot. But acquiring your beloved companion is not so easy. After completing around 60% of the story in the game is when you will come across adding BD-1 to your arsenal. Until then you will painfully have to pass by with empty hands. So the question further changes to another.

How to unlock Electro Dart for BD-1 in Star Wars Jedi Survivor?

BD-1 is a small AI bot that accompanies Cal in his adventure and fights against the Empire. With his ability to scan the environment and nearby objects, BD-1 makes himself useful to Cal. BD-1 also features various maps and hologram interfaces to show a designated 3D map and various other useful tools.

For Cal to upgrade to Electro Dart, the game story will take Cal to a distant place called Koboh Observatory. This happens after more than half of the game is completed. In chapter 6 of the game, players will stumble upon an area called Fogged Expanse. This is the place where our Jedi protagonist will come across various electric features and tools in the game. While working together side by side. Cal and BD-1 will come across a ruined and destroyed Imperial ship. While looking for plunders of the technology of the past, BD-1 will equip himself with parts that need to use Electro Darts.

Now that Cal has the equipment to make himself parts available for building tools and gathering items, players can access the location that was previously not possible. With conduit attached to the door and shooting the Electric Darts on it, the door will malfunction and open by default. This in turn will end up solving the problem of opening doors and chests altogether.
