Fans of Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth‘ Siragusa will be able to tell that the streamer’s content has undergone a lot of changes since the past month. She’s now less into hot tub streams and more into IRL content, which has been a welcoming transition in her community.
Initially, some ‘toxic’ fans claimed that her viewership stats will drastically fall down due to less explicit content on her Twitch channel, something which is the streamer is primarily known for. However, Kaitlyn was able to turn the tables when she revealed that she’s still able to make 7 figures a month and life has been better.
Amouranth took to her alternate account on Twitter to show a pie chart that gives a data of the content streamed on her channel. “90 days ago I was doing 50%+ or more hot tub, now it’s like sub 10%?”, she stated while showing the graph. Just Chatting and Just Dance sessions are dominating on her channel right now and what’s more interesting to note is that she played more Overwatch than doing hot tub streams.
This, she revealed has never happened before. When pointed out by a fan that her ‘rebrand’ seems to have worked out, the 28-year-old content creator claimed that it was more of having the choice and freedom to do what she wants rather than a rebrand. “Not about rebrand, I literally don’t care. I get to do what I want, and I still make 7 fig money a month. Life is better,” a confident Amouranth posted on Twitter.
Amouranth calls out Destiny who told her content hasn’t changed
Apart from Keemstar, YouTuber Destiny was one of the few renowned internet personalities who were skeptical against Amouranth revealing that she was trapped in an abusive marriage. Destiny highlighted in one of his previous streams that even if the streamer claims she was forced to do such content, her content hasn’t changed since she returned to streaming.
However, he issued an apology within a few days claiming that he seems to have misread the situation. “I will say, I don’t see as much hot tub stuff here. there is a lot of Just Chatting going on. So I was incorrect when I said that the nature of her content hadn’t changed,” the YouTuber claimed.
Therefore, Amouranth’s latest Twitter posts were more like a call out towards Destiny as she didn’t deter from charging him by showing the pie chart representing her content on Twitch. “Weird L take that my content hasn’t changed.” She even hit out at him directly-
"Imagine someone is drowning…. And destiny is like “If they are really drowning then after I rescue them they’ll never drink water again, right? RIGHT?!”
Amouranth also revealed that she’s yet to get an exclusive contract from Twitch and YouTube but it was surprising to see that she was one of the top female streamers on Twitch last month and the only female streamer to make it to Top 100 list.
Fans come in support of Amouranth
Kaitlyn’s fans were quite supportive and claimed that even if her content has not changed, viewers can feel that she’s happier when she uploads the videos right now. Another user stated that people need to understand the difference between doing content according to their own will and being forced to do something.
Amouranth hasn’t completely ruled out the chances of doing hot tub streams but it is evident that she proved herself as not only the ‘Queen of Hot Tub streams’ but the ‘Queen of streaming’ as well.
