“Design decisions felt thought out”: Dr DisRespect reveals the best Call of Duty title overall

Dr DisRespect talks about Call of Duty

Herschel Guy ‘Dr DisRespect’ Beahm might be the biggest critic of Activision’s Call of Duty but that doesn’t stop him to express his love for the title occasionally. On his livestreams, he has expressed his disappointment over not being invited to the game’s events but he has also hit out at the authorities sarcastically by revealing his Call of Duty gameplay stats on YouTube.

But earlier today, the streamer became quite nostalgic when Call of Duty Black Ops II celebrated their 10th year anniversary. Even though a decade has passed, the streamer believes that this is the best Call of Duty title to be made as of now. He chose to reveal this through a post on Twitter.

“When design decisions felt thought out and were meaningful”, Dr DisRespect explained to justify his claim about why he thinks Black Ops holds a special place in his heart. He went on to highlight some features that made the game fun to play for him-

  • Theater Mode
  • Symmetrical Maps and balance
  • Ranked League
  • SP, MP, Zombies
  • Tuned in Devs and support
  • Fun

Call of Duty Black Ops II was the ninth instalment in Activision’s hit franchise and the first game that was available in the Wii U platform. The FPS game takes its players to two different generations and also gives a touch of the post apocalyptic world due to the presence of Zombies mode.

Upon its release, the game was able to record $500 million revenue within 24 hours but the record was later on toppled by Grand Theft Auto V in September 2013. Nevertheless, the game still receives one of the best games for the FPS genre that has received more or less positive reviews from the audience as well as critical acclamation.

Although Activision has worked on several titles and even refurbished their previous titles such as Modern Warfare II, Dr DisRespect has brought out the drawbacks in each title. He also pointed out the shortcomings in the upcoming DMZ mode in Warzoene 2.0 but Black Ops II seems to be the only title that he can commend.

Fans disagree with Dr DisRespect

Twitterati held a different opinion as they started claiming that Black Ops II was average, and that other titles such as Modern Warfare II, Call of Duty 4 are better than the titles mentioned by the streamer.

With Warzone 2.0 release ahead, it would be intriguing to witness the verdict given by Dr DisRespect when he decides to livestream the gameplay on his channel.
