“We got MapleStory married”: Pokimane recounts a wholesome story of her first online date

It is quite rare to see the Twitch sensation, Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys talking about her past or current relationships, therefore, when the streamer chooses to shed some light on the subject, fans make sure that they can procure every fragment of information regarding Pokimane’s relationships.
So it happened through the video of the content creator where she decided to answer some spicy questions while eating spicy food. Given how she stays low-key regarding her personal life, it was rare sight to see Pokimane undertaking such a challenge and even answering questions about her first online date.
This question was kept for her when she was explaining that in-person chemistry is quite important in relationships. When asked about her own online dating experience, she recounted her first date, “Well, I don’t want to flex but my first online date was on MapleStory and we got MapleStory married.”

Pokimane is still friends with her first online date
The content creator, who happens to be one of the co-founders for OfflineTv network decided to narrate the story from about a decade ago. She began by stating that this apparent marriage took place on MapleStory when she was 12 but later they stopped talking when she was about 14.
“I went to high school and then I started streaming way later”, Pokimane then explained how she met the same person again through her chat when she was during the initial stages of her streaming career. She expressed that his abrupt appearance had surprised her but now they’re quite good friends.
"He came into my chat and he was like, 'oh my god, do you remember me? I'm ex-guy from MapleStory' and I was like (surprised)"
She explained how crazy it was to meet him through chat after two years but now they follow each other on Instagram. Pokimane reflected that she’s now living happily and vice versa with the guy who was her first online date.

The content chosen by Pokimane in this YouTube video was thoroughly appreciated by her fans as they started demanding more such videos in future as it was quite convenient to catch up with what the streamer was up to, for those who are not able to watch her livestream on a regular basis.
Pokimane is renowned for streaming on Twitch but she also uploads fun and entertaining content on YouTube for her fans. As a consequence, she gained more than 6 million subscribers on the streaming platform.
