With Christmas bells ringing and the whole US gearing up for ushering in the New Year, several streamers are informing their fans about their plans for the next year. Imane ‘Pokimane‘ Anys had something similar to share with her fans as revealed her priorities for the next year.

The 26-year-old content creator took to her alternate Twitter account ‘Imane’ to inform her upcoming plans, and surprisingly, it wasn’t content creation. She stated that she wishes to experience new things in her life, “my #1 priority in 2023 will be to experience new things and get into the best shape”, she wrote on Twitter.

The Moroccan-Canadian internet personality had a year of ups and downs. On July this year, she went for brief streaming hiatus to prioritize her mental health, which was quite surprising to see as streaming break would naturally mean less watch hours.

However, when she came back, she explained her viewers about why the break was necessary. In addition to that, Pokimane commented on the ongoing scenario of the streaming industry where streamers go through a lot of mental pressure as they have to think about creating content on a constant basis.

She reflected that she now wishes to take a step back even if it costs her, her followers on Twitch. Well, it actually did as Amouranth was able to dethrone her as the top most watched female streamers in the world during the month of November.

While this might have led to assumptions that she might soon announce her retirement from streaming and content creation, Poki stated clearly that retirement is out of option. On the flip side, her content has grown and evolved a lot compared to her initial streaming years, as she focuses on creating VLOGs that describe a particular day in her life and some positive changes.

Fans have been clearly supportive of what Pokimane has been planning to do, but it can undoubtedly be said, that they’d miss seeing more of her content on Twitch and YouTube.
