Super Mega Baseball 4 announced by EA and MetalHead Games
EA and MetalHead Games announce Super Mega Baseball 4!
Super Mega Baseball is a series of baseball games developed by MetalHead Games based in Canada and published by none other than sports game giants, Electronic Arts, the folks who are also behind some of the most popular games in the sports genre such as the FIFA series.
The series is most widely known not for its realistic graphics or its intense gameplay, but more importantly, for how well it blends the quirkiness of short stout baseball characters with the accuracy of the rules of baseball making it a game that people love to play for hours.
The Super Mega Baseball series has had 3 iterations up until now – all of which have been extremely loved by baseball fans worldwide and have been held high on a pedestal with casual sports games lovers who love having something to grind on yet easy to win at.
MetalHead Games had recently teased the arrival of the game just a few days ago on April 27 on the Super Mega Baseball SubReddit where they had announced that they were only days away from sharing some “MEGA News”.
In the post, they made it clear that MetalHead had been working really closely with EA Sports to make sure their game was being made better in every way possible while also keeping its originality intact which is really important for a game as niche as Super Mega Baseball.
As mentioned in the post, MetalHead Games revealed Super Mega Baseball 4 on their social media channels today and sure enough, the game is every bit SMB as before yet is seeing some BIG changes!

Super Mega Baseball 4 announced!
The latest addition in the series of semi-realistic baseball games has been revealed and it seems there are tons of new changes in the latest version of Super Mega Baseball. Some of which include the addition of bigger homeruns, bigger names being added to the game’s portfolio which can be accredited to EA.
Apart from the obvious big changes, there are also going to be a few quality of life improvements which engage the fans a bit more such as the addition of more interesting ballparks, more ways to make plays, and a lot more legends to pick from! There is no doubt that Super Mega Baseball 4 will continue on the legacy of the series once it’s released on June 2nd this year.
