One of the most favorite but least played modes of Batlle Grounds Mobile India (BGMI) is the solo vs. squad mode. As the name suggests, a player has to compete alone against four members or, in some situations, against two squads. Notably, it’s the least played mode because there are no second chances, i.e., no revive. Once eliminated, the game doesn’t continue, hence the loss. 

This mode isn’t a joke, and that’s the reason why only players with the best skills click the START button. Streamers like S8ul Aman, Lolzz Gaming, and Spike Gaming mostly prefer playing solo vs. squad in their streams, as the competition level in this mode is at its peak.

Strategies for winning solo vs. squad in BGMI 2023

Use high-damage guns

Using a sniper in solo vs. squad mode would be close to stupidity because it’s obvious that you will have to kill multiple enemies in the least amount of time in a fight situation that is in close range. 

So having a weapon that yields the highest damage would be an advantage for you. Always carry a double assault rifle combination, one that is good at close range and the other that can be used at long range. Having an M416-AKM combination would be the most preferable weapon, as it fits the above criteria.

Use of a Fast vehicle like Buggy 

There might be a situation where retreating would be the best decision possible, and for that, having a fast vehicle is important. Hence, traveling in a UAZ or Dacia can get you killed if spotted from a good distance, so always make sure to travel in a buggy or a motorbike. 

With their fast speeds,  both vehicles can help you escape from dicey situations. The only problem with a motorbike is that it has a very small and open structure, so the enemies would have an easy time shooting you, while in a buggy, the bullets can be dodged by its surface.

Carrying sufficient utilities 

Since you are playing solo, you would have to make sure that your essential utilities do not deplete. So always carry excess ammo and medkits to avoid unfavorable situations. 

Remember, the amount of gun power a squad generates now has to be done by you alone, so always carry more ammo for the mid-and long-range guns. For instance, AKM would only be used in cases of close range, so carrying more ammo for the M416 would be smart.  

It all comes down to gunpower and raw skills, so having them is non-negotiable. With the given tips, it is mandatory to see an improvement in your overall performance. Keep in mind that every game is a chance to improve your skills and move closer to the grand reward.
