Valorant adds new Danger and Critical Indicators
As the latest patch notes roll out, Valorant reveals a new change in its UI!
The Hero based 5v5 tactical action Shooter, Valorant, which is famous for its engaging gameplay and its developers over at Riot Games being huge on community feedback, has come out with yet another considerable feature that will help people be aware of their surroundings even better in the game!
Valorant has been around for almost 3 years now and even though it was heavily criticized by gamers in its early days, people have certainly come around to loving it despite what little flaws the game has. From Jett being overpowered in the beginning, to Fracture being initially unplayable, there are a lot of issues that the developers over at Riot Games have had to fix.
Valorant, which was initially called a clone of the heavily popular Counter Strike : Global Offensive, has become one of the biggest phenomena in eSports today and continues to grow in terms of the size of its community, its popularity, and a lot more aspects!
In its most recent update, Patch 6.07 PBE, Riot Games have added new UI icons for the Danger Indicator and the Critical Indicator which have existed in Valorant for a long time now.
The Danger Indicator comes up on your screen when there is a triggerable ability nearby. The indicator serves as a warning for people who may not have taken note of the audio or visual cues that come up in the game as well.
Whereas, the Critical Indicator in Valorant warns the player of an immediate danger to them for which they will have very less time left to react to. This indicator serves as a more urgent warning to the player to move out of the way.

Valorant changes designs of Danger and Critical Indicators
While the reason for the change in the indicator remains unknown from Riot’s side, players and critics alike have started giving their views on the newly upcoming changes in the game that they love to play.
While some people were very much in support of the design stating that they loved it and how much more easier it’d be for them to be able to notice the indicator now, others were less supportive of the change and said the previous design in Valorant was just fine.
