The new team deathmatch mode is going to come to Valorant’s next update, Episode 7, Act 1. There are going to be a lot of new features, mechanics, and more in this new game mode. Let’s touch up these mechanics:

Use of Abilities:

This game mode will allow players to select agents from their agent pool. Players would be able to use the abilities of these agents. As for the purchasable abilities, they load over time while the player plays through this game mode. Every kill recharges the ultimate ability by a selected percentage.

Respawning:

Players die and are constantly respawned in this game mode. This mechanic is similar to the normal deathmatch mechanic. And players keep their abilities progress with them as they respawn.

New Map:

The new map coming to this game mode will be a revamped version of Ascent. Devs tailored this new map, especially for this new game mode, with peakable corners, covers in the middle of the map, and loads of new areas.

Orbs:

There are orbs scattered throughout the map with different uses. Some are healing orbs, while others give players abilities. Unlike the ultimate black orb, players just need to walk over these orbs to use them.

Team Deathmatch HURM: Gameplay

This new game mode in Valorant has loads of new gameplay, and players are all hyped for it.

100 Kills Criteria:

The side to reach 100 kills first wins the game. The kills are counted cumulatively and not individually.

Stages:

The game divides the gun gameplay into stages, unlocking more guns to use as the stage progresses. The stage progress goes up as the kill threshold goes up. Also, when the stage changes, players can click the buy button to upgrade their guns. They don’t have to die to access the buy menu. The developers have divided the guns into four stages:

  • Stage 1: This stage has sidearms: Classic, Frenzy, Ghost
  • Stage 2: This stage has one sidearm, one SMG, and one machine gun: Sheriff, Stinger, Ares
  • Stage 3: This stage has rifles, SMG & a machine gun: Bulldog, Guardian, Specter, Ares
  • Stage 4: This stage has the main game rifles: Vandal & Phantom
