OpTic FNS said that the VCT format is ridiculous, the way top teams from every region are directly sent into the playoffs stage of Valorant Champions Tour Stage 1 Masters: Reykjavik. This decision taken by Riot on the basis of their performance in VCT leagues happened in their regions.

And those teams which came 2nd into their region had to play the Group Stage for qualifying for the next round. And on Wednesday group stage of Master’s End OpTic, DRX, and Team Liquid make it through the playoffs.

FNS Said:

“I think every team has should have to playgroup stages and earn their spot in playoffs,” FNS said. “But that’s not the fault of the teams or anything. I just think it’s a terrible format in that sense. They should not do that.”

“I don’t think any team should just make playoffs,” “I think even if we won the final versus The Guard online I still would be saying that that’s a ridiculous thing that any team can just make the playoffs right from online play and not having to playgroup stages.”

But OpTic players have different reactions to the Valorant Master’s Format, one of the superstar players of Optic Jaccob Whiteaker aka “YaY” said “I do feel like there is like some advantage, I think for our team because usually we kind of start slow,” “So for us to get that out of the way now, so we can keep building and keep building and writing momentum.”

In playoffs OpTic Gaming Valorant squad is now going to face The Guard in the double-elimination format. The Guard is the champions of the North American Challengers 1, they defeated OpTic Gaming in the finals by a 3-2 scoreline.
