Top 3 agents to successfully counter Harbor in Valorant
Yoru
With Valorant set to roll out it’s newest agent Varun Batra, codenamed Harbor, the meta is already set to shift in a different direction in Episode 5 Act 3. Not so long ago, the entire community was in an almost overpowering Astra meta, which seemed to have cosmic powers even beyond the intention of the developers. Although Riot nerfed Astra after the incident, the damage done to the playing community was already quite substantial and it took up considerable time to correct that.
Harbor, at least on the basis of his initial abilities appears to be heading in a similar direction and therefore it only appears right to fix up a few counter-measures against a controller that might well dominate the group for quite sometime to come. The following three agents are more so on the basis on playing style rather than a guaranteed kill metric, so handling the agent is as crucial as selecting it.

Neon (Duelist)
This absolute speedster appears to be the only agent in offence that can take Harbor head-on , and get away safely. Although none of her abilities are a direct counter to Harbor, selective and proper use of her stun ability should allow Neon mans to dash onto the site quickly and overpower the defensive Harbor. Add onto it Neon‘s Fastlane ability and her explosive ultimate, she becomes a real force to be reckoned with.
Yoru (Duelist)
Honestly, Yoru is the the surprise pick of the bunch. Even after receiving buffs, Yoru still has an underwhelming pick rate on several maps. However, the addition of Harbor might indirectly lead to an increase in Yoru’s pick rate. Since his entry into the Valorant Protocol, Yoru has always been presented as a deceptive type agent, and with Harbor challenging direct angular gameplay, Yoru’s teleport can be a gamechanger.

Add to the fact that he can send his decoy through Harbor’s abilities and even use all of his own abilities in his ultimate while simultaneously providing information to his teammates, Yoru is probably the direct challenger to Harbor. However, Neon and Yoru for the aggressive fraggers, so if your preferred mode of gameplay is passive and supportive, the next agent might be the one for you.
KAY/O (Initiator)
Wouldn’t it be great to know if the enemy Harbor is camping in site, or not present at all? And in case the opponent Harbor happens to be present, to disable his abilities? Well, KAY/O‘s knife does exactly that and much more. As an initiator who has his own flashes and stalling ability, and an ultimate that can pretty much guarantee a site entry, KAY/O is the deceptive agent of choice to beat Harbor on any map.
With Harbor set to arrive in the game soon, players might want to get their hands on the aforementioned agents in case they want to lock heads with the upcoming Indian agent.
