What is the map rotation for Apex Legends Season 16?

Apex Legends continually makes adjustments to its different maps, providing gameplay variety to players who log in daily. In Season 16, Respawn made major changes to its ranked mode, which will now follow the game’s standard battle royale playlists’ rotation method. This change differs from previous seasons in which the battle royale map would only change at the split mark of the season. These changes should result in more gameplay variety for players, who face the challenge of constantly adjusting to a new setting.

Apex Legends Season 16 brought some significant changes to the battle royale, including an overhaul to the way Legend classes work, an all-new Team Deathmatch mode, and minor changes to Legend buffs and nerfs. Ranked players can expect variety in the next update as Respawn takes notes from the standard battle royale playlists. Apex Legends Season 16 has three maps in rotation: Storm Point, Broken Moon, and World’s Edge. These maps are mainly for public or casual matches for the second split. Only World’s Edge is available for both ranked and pub matches. However, Respawn has made changes to their ranked modes for the Revelry season. The ranked maps will rotate every 24 hours or a day, unlike the previous map rotation. On the other hand, casual or pub matches will rotate for an hour to half an hour every day, the same as the previous split.

  • Broken Moon
  • World’s Edge

Players cannot repeatedly play any of the maps mentioned in Season 16. So, if they wish to play a specific map that isn’t in the rotation, they may have to wait. Once the timer runs out, they can play that map if it’s in the next rotation. During a preview event for Apex Legends Season 16, experience design director Aaron Rutledge clarified the main map rotation, which includes Broken Moon, Storm Point, and World’s Edge. The Loadout also confirmed that Apex Legends ranked mode would introduce three maps into the rotation.

Rutledge emphasized that ranked play will also move over to the map rotation. The midseason splits and soft resets will remain the same for the rest of the season, but the maps will rotate every 24 hours for the duration of the season.

The ranked maps will rotate once every 24 hours, offering players an opportunity to test their skills on different maps throughout the season. These changes make for a more dynamic and engaging gameplay experience for all Apex Legends fans. Overall, it’s an exciting time to be part of the Apex Legends community.
