Dead Island 2 has been in development over at Deep Silver for almost a decade. The game’s setting is Hell-A, an open-world environment. The world of Dead Island 2 features various zombies that players can take out. The game also features several side missions that players can take part in. One of these side missions is “My Mailman Was a Zombie.” This article will discuss where players can find the Mailman Keys to complete this quest.

Players need to walk on Alpine Drive in Bel-Air to start this side mission. They will come across a delivery truck with the words “Fastdel” on the side. The truck is located right where the “A” is in Alpine on the map. There’s a large lockbox on the side, but unfortunately, it’s locked.

Completing the Mailman quest in Dead Island 2

Once players have started the quest, they need to follow a specific paper trail by finding packages at set locations around “Hell-A.” Looking at the notepad from the Journal section of the menu reveals three locations to visit around Bel-Air. These are:

  • The GOAT Pen at 59 Alpine Drive

Thankfully, these locations are relatively close on the Dead Island 2 map. Players will need to head to them and watch for a stack of packages at each place. Inspect the packages at each location to advance the quest. Colt Swanson’s packages are against a black fence. The GOAT Pen’s packages are down the stairs by the front door. Finally, the third set is near a concrete wall at the top of the driveway.

Players should ideally go to the GOAT Pen first, go out the farthest exit, cross the street, and head up the stairs to Curtis Sinclair’s house. Go beyond the utility room where his power was restored, turn left, go up more stairs, go past the guest house, and head into the cul-de-sac to find the packages against the black fence.

At the final location, players will need to take down a special Slobber-style zombie named Wayne, The Mailman. Wayne is a hulking zombie that can spew poisonous attacks either at close range or by launching them in the direction of the player. Players should aim for their stomach for critical hits, and soon enough, the zombie will fall.

For those who manage to take down Wayne The Mailman, they’ll gain access to his special keys that unlock the chest in the back of the van. The prize is the unique sharpshooter rifle called Raven, which boasts exceptionally high damage, range, and an above-average critical multiplier.

The weapon also comes with the perk Precision Shots, which boosts the gun’s damage after landing multiple hits in quick succession. This effect can stack multiple times. This means Dead Island 2 players can gain a substantial boost, especially when dealing with groups of enemies.
