The joke for April Fools’ came out a lil different this year when Blizzard released its April Fools’ patch. Overwatch 2 is the sequel to and replacement for the Overwatch. The game has been known for its fast paced game style. It is a full blown first person shooter that is optimized to run a 5v5 match.

Blizzard has released a new April Fools’ patch that includes a lot of fun to encounter changes. The game now hosts more than 30 original heroes to choose from. Overwatch 2’s director, Aaron Keller, too has his hands deep in the new patch. Be it the googly eyes or the funny dialogues that sync with several inside jokes, the patch update was a rather enjoyable experience for Overwatch players.

However, now that the update is done and dusted, players are requesting Blizzard to introduce the update as a permanent feature in the game. But will Blizzard pay heed to these requests from fans?

The characters that are in support role get move 30% faster when hurt giving them edge on offensive. The tanks are not left behind either. Tanks now get to get their ults faster than before. but in exchange they have to give up charge on getting killed.

Nevertheless players are having a blast with enjoying the changes to character and game mechanic enhanced. With match chat is full of appreciative stuff you can tell it was fun to play. Over all the game has received a huge support for new patch that engages player to goof around while playing.

While Blizzard has not made any statements about these requests from fans, it remains to be seen whether the developers actually go ahead and make the patch a permanent update in the game.
