Fortnite Battle Royale in the V24.30 update, is bringing some of the best-known Star Wars faces to the game, which will include Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala. In this update, Fortnite is going to take a step back in the Star Wars timeline to when Anakin was still a Jedi.

Players will get the chance to choose between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker to teach them the ways of the Jedi. Otherwise, they can train under Darth Maul to master the power of the dark side as a Sith Lord. Use what you learn from these iconic characters against your opponents and win every game.

In this update, Fortnite will add “Find the Force Quests,” which will allow players to unlock various free rewards. Players will have an exclusive chance to acquire the Clone Trooper outfit. Apart from the free drops, players can get premium skins like the Darth Maul Outfit or Coruscant Guard Outfit upon purchasing the Premium Reward Track upgrade.

Moreover, players can obtain the “Chosen One” from the Star Wars universe, Anakin Skywalker, as well as Naboo’s most courageous senator, Padme Aidala‘s outfits, in the Item Shop. Additionally, players can get their hands on 501st Trooper and 212th Battalion Trooper outfits too.

After the update, players need to visit the island in Hologram, where Obi-Wan, Anakin Skywalker, and Darth Maul will be waiting. You can choose your master, but choose wisely, as they will provide you with different sets of skills. After accepting one of their proposals, you will jump into a rift. Next, you will return with Force powers and a brand new Light Saber, which you can use as a melee weapon. It will remain in your inventory unless you drop it or get eliminated from the match.

The Force training you will receive will give you the ability to Sprint Faster and Double Jump while wielding your lightsaber. If you choose Obi-Wan as your master, then you will gain the ability to push objects and players away and own a Green Jedi Padwan lightsaber.

On the other hand, if you decide to learn from Anakin Skywalker, then you will obtain the ability to pull objects and players with the Force. Moreover, you will receive a blue lightsaber as a melee weapon.

But if you prefer to choose the dark side and want to become a Sith lord, then Darth Maul will be there to take you under his wing. You will learn how to lift objects from the environment and throw them at players. Also, you will get a Red Sith Apprentice Lightsaber to use in future battles.

Additionally, there will be Republic Chests throughout various nooks and crannies of the map. Players need to locate these, and opening them may give you a chance to acquire the Clone Troopers’ DC-15 Blaster.

Earn “Galactic Reputation”

Once you master skills from one of the three masters, you will earn Galactic Reputation. Players can keep track of their Galactic Reputation by navigating to the quests tab. When you click on the tab, you will see that the Free Rewards and Premium Rewards Track upgrades are available for free. There are 11 unlockable free rewards available that include a Clone Trooper outfit as the ultimate prize.

Moreover, if players want to purchase the Premium Track upgrade, they can do so by spending 1,000 V-Bucks. This will allow the players to obtain a Darth Maul outfit as a reward. Additionally, it contains 11 unlockables, including the Pack Trooper outfit and Ashoka’s Clone Trooper outfit. Purchasing the Premium Track Upgrader will automatically add the Coruscant Guard outfit to your inventory.

The V24.30 update introduces some attractive new Reality Augments. 

  1. The Tracker Armory Reality Augment grants players a Flare Gun and a Shadow Tracker Pistol.
  2. Now the Second Reality Augment, Desperate Reload, will allow players to reload Pistol faster if the clip is empty.
  3. Steady Hands is the third Reality Augment that will reduce the Recoil from the Marksman Rifle.
  4. The final Reality Augment SMG Sign Off will give a Bonus Damage buff if you are down to the last Three Bullets of your SMG Magazine. 

Moreover, there are also a few returning Reality Augments which include First Assault, Forecast, and Mythic Mutation.

When does the “Find the Force” trilogy quest goes live?

The “Find the Force” quest is a trilogy like the prequels to Star Wars. This basically means players have to complete three sets of quests. After grinding 12 quests, players will earn the Sith Holocron, and successfully finding three of them will unlock the Sith Infiltrator Glider. The Find the Force quests are available until May 23 at 9 a.m. ET.

  • “The Force Within” quests are already live.
  • “Begun the Clone Wars Have” quests will go live on May 7th at 9 a.m. ET.
  • “Fall of the Republic” quests are set to go live on May 12th at 9 a.m. ET.
  • There is also an Epilogue to these epic sets of quests, “The First Galactic Empire,” which will drop on May 17th at 9 a.m. ET.

Players can unlock the Coruscant’s Pride Wrap gun skin Discord reward by following these methods:

First method

  • Players need to “Go live and Screen share“ Fortnite for 15 minutes on Discord with at least one friend.
    • When 15 minutes are up, you will get a link. Click on it, which will take you to a page where you have to link your Epic Games account. After successfully linking your account, the wrap will be added to your inventory.
    • Keep in mind Epic Games Fan Content Policy and Epic Games Community Rules while doing Live screen sharing on Discord.

Second method

  • Players can access the Official Fortnite Discord server by entering the Specified Participating Channels. By entering these channels, players can complete the Find the Force Discord Quest.
    • Once you enter a channel, you will be interacting with a bot, which will guide you on how to link your Epic and Discord accounts. After linking your accounts, you have to complete two simultaneous challenges, one in Discord and the other in Fortnite. Complete both of them, and the wrap will be added to your collection.

Improvements and changes in the new V24.30 Fortnite Update

Auto-Confirm edits

Players will notice an “Auto Confirm Edits” setting has been added to the Fortnite “Game” menu. This replaced “Confirm Edit on Release.”  Players can now Confirm and Reset edits automatically as opposed to doing it manually. 

Improvements made on Fortnite Mobile

Mobile users will now have improved touch settings for Fortnite.

  • Combined ADS+Fire: Now the Main Fire+Look button will aim down sights. Once the transition into ADS is complete, the gun will fire, even though players can still operate it the usual way.
  • Release to Fire: Players don’t need to keep holding the Main Fire+Look button while using a sniper or a semi-automatic single-shot weapon.
  • Continuous Fire: Hold the Primary Fire button or anyone that you assign for continuous fire.

Balance Changes

The new V24.30 Fortnite update made some Balance changes in the game

  • Storm Circles 6 and 7 now move further into the Storm as the safe zone shrinks. Storm Circles 8 and 9 now begin moving earlier and travel further. Storm Circle 12 takes longer to close.
  • Vaulted the Game Time Reality Augment and reduced the probability of Chug Splash loot.
    • We will continue to monitor the impact of healing items and matches that end in “heal-offs.” 

Competitive Notes

  • Force abilities, Jedi Padawan and Sith Apprentice Lightsabers, and DC-15 Blasters are currently not included in Arena or tournaments. We’re investigating possibly including these abilities and items in Arena and tournaments after FNCS Major 2 concludes.

Major Bug Fixes in the new V24.30 Fortnite update

  • Fixed an issue where large rocks on the Island were not providing as many materials as intended when harvested.
  • Fixed an issue where using ODM Gear would sometimes cause a player to fly even if no longer using the item.
  • Back Blings no longer appear detached on the Highwire Outfit.
  • Fixed an issue where the Starter Island timer did not go down properly.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a long load time to occur when entering a match with the DirectX 12 rendering mode enabled.
  • Trunks and tree branches no longer appear to move erratically when playing Fortnite on mobile or PC Performance Mode.
  • The most major bug fix: the Infinite Dab Emote wasn’t looping for 15 hours when performed in the Lobby. This is fixed and it now loops for 16 hours.

These are all the major updates and changes in the new V24.30 Fortnite update. This collaboration with Star Wars is not new previously the Mandalorian and Darth Vader graced the maps of Fortnite. Now with the inclusion of so many Star Wars characters, it’s only a matter of time before we see some epic plays.
