Eugenie Bouchard is one of the most followed athletes on the tennis tour. The Canadian got a fair share of limelight, after she had an incredible 2014 season, where she reached the finals of the Wimbledon. Moreover, she also qualified for the semifinals of the Australian Open and French Open.

Recently, the 27-year old answered some questions regarding her personal interests, in a rapid fire contest. When asked about the thing she cannot travel without, Bouchard answered that it was her sleep mask. Bouchard revealed that her favorite TV Channel was, Nickelodeon to watch Spongebob.


As for her professional tennis career, Bouchard last played at the Monterrey Open, where she was defeated in the first round itself. Her best performance of the season came at the Guadalajara Open, where she ended as the runner-up.

Going further in the Rapid Fire contest, Eugenie Bouchard revealed her first celebrity crush. The 27-year old answered that it was the Canadian singer, Justin Bieber. She stated that Chrissy Teigen was her favorite person to follow on social media. Christine Diane Teigen is an American model, television personality, author, and entrepreneur.

One of the most interesting questions came towards the end of the contest, as Eugenie Bouchard was asked about her alternative career. The Canadian had a pretty interesting answer, as she stated that she would love to be an air traffic controller.


Bouchard is currently ranked 120th in the WTA Rankings, and will hope to break into the top 100 by the end of the clay court season. She will look forward to qualify for the main draw of the Italian Open 2021, which takes place later in May. The Canadian has tons of potential, but her career has been marred by injuries so far.
