UEFA Europa League: Real Betis vs Elche Player Ratings as Betis come from behind to secure an amazing 4-3 win in high scoring game

Real Betis demonstrated great character in their 1^st Europa League match against Elche at Benito Villamarin stadium. Within 1^st 27 minutes only Elche scored two goals and looked dominate the game. But after that within next 5 minutes the game shifted in Betis favour as they scored two goals in span of two minutes to bring the match to square one.

In the 2^nd half, Iglesias and Juanmi scored at 50^th and 53^rd minute respectively to give Real Betis a two goal lead making the score 4-2. But the drama was not yet over, at 87^th minute Anthony Ralston scored to bring the deficit to 4-3. Although, Elche lost the game but 1 goal difference will help them in the competition

Claudio Bravo (GK) (6/10): Bravo had a bad day on the pitch. He conceded two goals and also his passing accuracy was only 44%, which allowed Elche to get in attacking situations.

Borja Iglesias (8/10): Iglesisas had a great game, created four close chances for Joaquin and Juanmi to score goals. He provided the important assist to Juanmi to secure the 2^nd goal for Betis in 2^nd half and scored the important goal at 50^th minute.

Substitutes:

Aitar Ruibal (7/10): After coming in as a substitute Ruibal couldn’t replicate the same impact that Joaquin created on the field. He had very poor passing accuracy and could complete only 67% of his pass.

Joe Hart (GK) (5/10): It was a day to forget for Joe Hart as he ended up conceding four goals.

Josip Juranovic (7/10): Juranovic played well in patches. He scored the penalty in 1^st half to give a two goal lead to Elche in 1^st half. But, he had only 79% passing accuracy.

Carl Starfelt(7/10):  In the centre back position, Starfelt was finding it difficult to stop Fekir from getting in attacking positions. But even then he made two important clearances and one beautiful interception.

Cameron Carter-Vickers (7/10): Throughout the game, Carter-Vickers was sharp in terms of his positions and he made seven clearances and won some brilliant tackles.

Anthony Ralston (7/10): From right back position, Ralston made some excellent runs during attacking build up for Elche and he scored the very important 3^rd goal at 87^th minute.

David Turnbull (8/10): Turnbull played a very pivotal role in Elche’s midfield performance.  With the ball, he was accurate in getting Ajeti and Filipe and also provided the assist to Ralston at 87^th minute.

Tom Rogic (7/10): During the attacking period for Elche, Rogic made some great passes and amazing through balls. But in the defensive situation, he just couldn’t press the opposition.
