Evan Fournier stars as Orlando Magic upset Star-Studded Miami Heat

Orlando Magic’s Evan Fournier scores 25 points as he leads his franchise to victory against defending Eastern Conference Champions, Miami Heat. The Heat started in their regular fashion with Butler leaving the crew. During the first 3 quarters of the game, there was no margin for error as the competition so close. Terrence Rose came from the Magic bench to create the difference. The starters of the Orlando Magic had a pretty decent offensive outing.
Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic both scored 20 and 15 points respectively. But Gordon’s ability to force turnovers on the experienced Miami Heat proved to be thin margins that led the outcome in the Magic’s favor.
Fournier scores 25 as Magic beat Heat 107-113
The Sunshine State rivals opened the regular season against one another for the sixth time. Oddly, the two rivals have started their seasons in Orlando four times in the past five years. The Magic are 5-1 in their six openers against their rivals from South Florida.
Miami led 83-79 after three periods and it was up 93-91 with 4:29 to play following Adebayo’s dunk. However, Fournier soon after swung the momentum to the Magic’s side with his strong finish. Fournier, who is looking to bounce back this season after struggling in last season’s playoffs, made all three of his shots in the 4th quarter.
Talking about the Miami Heat, Bam Adebayo led their squad with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Whereas Dragic played the crucial ‘bench-role’ scoring 19. Their leader Jimmy Butler scored 19 and lastly Heat’s youngest superstar Tyler Herro was able to register only 13 against his name.
