The main card of UFC 313 kicked off with the exciting lightweight fight between Bobby ‘King’ Green and Mauricio Ruffy. The young blood didn’t waste much time, and won the fight via one of the brutal KOs in recent times. With the win, Ruffy has undoubtedly increased fans’ expectations for his future outings.

Going into the fight, Ruffy was the favorite to win, and he didn’t disappoint his fans. In the first round, around the two-minute mark, he landed a flawless wheel kick that connected perfectly. It was enough to put Green to sleep without any follow-up shots.

The commentator team, including Joe Rogan and Jon Anik, couldn’t believe what they saw and were in awe of the kick. Rogan mentioned that it was the most beautiful wheel kick he has ever seen in his twenty years of experience. Anik, on the other hand, shared a trivia about Ruffy’s past job as the bodyguard of a Chinese billionaire. 

Bobby Green came into the fight with a loss on his back, which happened at UFC 304 against Paddy Pimblett. At the age of 38, the veteran is currently on his last stint as a professional fighter and definitely didn’t want to lose like that. However, Ruffy had other plans and managed to make a statement.
