Baron Davis and Donald Sterling
Former Los Angeles Clippers player Baron Davis has been making the headlines lately after sharing a wild locker room story involving former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. Notably, Sterling has been known for his wild nature throughout his NBA career. In addition, Davis opened up on Sterling and his problematic behavior on the Draymond Green Show.
Davis claimed on the show that Sterling “hated everybody” and was “delusional” creating a lot of problems for players working with him. Interestingly Davis also shared a story where Sterling once called 7 old white women into the Clippers locker room and told the players to “go for a shower.” Davis and Co were left embarrassed by Sterling’s antiques but were not surprised, with Davis hilariously claiming that he could have sued Sterling for “Se*ual Harassment”.

He wasn't even a racist. He was a hate everybody-ist, hated everybody, probably himself...He brought some old a** ladies in at the end of one of the games. Like, seven old a** white ladies, right? And he walked into the locker room. He was like, 'Man, you wait for them to get in the shower at any point.' Pointed at me. And he was like, 'Especially him,' like you should, It was foul, bro. It was like, I could have sued for sexual harassment. On the Draymond Green Show, Baron Davis said
It’s important to note that, Donald Sterling was permanently banned from the NBA after the basketball community was stunned by the audio of his racist remarks that had been leaked. That being said, this news was scarcely shocking to many players.
Donald Sterling was banned for life from the NBA back in 2014
Former Los Angeles Clippers owner, Donald Sterling has been known for his wild, problematic nature over the years in the NBA. Notably, Sterling crossed the barrier back in 2014 when he passed racist remarks over a leaked phone call with his ex-girlfriend, V. Stiviano. Not only that, he was also fined $2.5 million following an investigation by the NBA.
In addition, the sanctions were revealed by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver at a press conference according to Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News. According to Ken Berger of CBS Sports, the fine assessed on Sterling is the highest permitted by the league’s constitution. Sterling was punished by the NBA with immediate effect for his wild remarks.
Also, Sterling’s comments were universally mocked in 2014, especially because this is not the first time his narrow-minded and antiquated views have been exposed. In conclusion, the NBA has always been strict with their decisions and Sterling is a clear example of what lengths the NBA and Silver could go if one were doing something wrong in and around the league.
