Kobe Bryant and Jeff Teague
Former NBA champion Jeff Teague has been making the headlines lately after his recent comments regarding the late Kobe Bryant that even got Gills Arenas show hosts speechless. It’s interesting to note that, Teague is known for his unusual and weird takes on ex-players and current players performing in the NBA.
Similarly, Teague claimed on Gil’s Arena that he disliked watching Bryant play, which left many speechless. Also, in an attempt to clarify the distinction, he brought up Kevin Durant and Paul George.
Teague explained how George and Durant are smooth with their respective plays in the sport whereas he labelled Bryant’s game as “rough.”
Kobe was like jab, get there. Ah pump fake, pump fake, pump fake. Get him off the ground, foul shot and 1. It was effective, he was a dawg. I just didn't like watching it. It didn't look as graceful to me, that's all.On the Gil’s Arena Show, Jeff Teague said
On the contrary, one could well and truly argue with Teague regarding his claim of calling Bryant’s game rough. Many young NBA stars grew up watching the Los Angeles Lakers iconic legend over the years in the NBA. It would be harsh to portray Bryant’s game as “rough” as he had all the tools in the sport to be one of the best in his time.
