Todd Gurley is back, but in an avatar that the Los Angeles Rams would never have dreamed of in their wildest dreams. The 3x Pro Bowler released a video wearing Philadelphia Eagles gear.

The timing of the video is very significant as the Rams will travel to Philadelphia to face the Eagles in the NFC Divisional round. In the clip, Gurley can be seen wearing an Eagles jersey while saying encouraging words about the team, which he once terrorized while playing for the Rams.

This is the type of fit that winners wear. Football is in the sport man it’s a way of life. A lot of dedication and lot of hard work. Philly green.

Todd Gurley said

This video came out of nowhere, but it will certainly rile up the Eagles’ fans even more for the fixture.

NFL Twitter believes Todd Gurley made the right choice by supporting the Eagles

A couple of weeks ago, Gurley backed Eagles running back Saquon Barkley to break Eric Dickerson’s rushing yards record. He was unhappy after learning that the Eagles would not play Barkley on the final day to save him for the playoffs.

It appears that he is sticking with the Eagles to go all the way, even if they have to go through his former team.

Todd Gurley spent five seasons with the Rams (St. Louis Rams), who drafted him as the 10th overall pick in 2015. Under head coach Sean McVays tutelage, Gurley became the offensive player of the year in 2017.

Injuries hampered his NFL tenure. Gurley had arthritis in his left knee. As a result, he began to lose pace, and the once dynamic running back who lit up the league was nowhere to be seen. He was released from the team in 2019 and subsequently joined the Atlanta Falcons, where he played 15 games, rushed for 678 yards, and scored 9 touchdowns from 195 carries.

Gurley missed the 2021 season and in 2022 announced his retirement from professional football at the tender age of 28.
