Popular live streamer IShowSpeed played a cameo at this year’s WrestleMania. He was disguised as a portable PRIME bottle dummy. He eventually caught the ire of Randy Orton, who RKOed the YouTuber on the commentary desk. Speed took it like a pro. But from where did he learn how to do so? Former WWE Superstar Cameron Grimes took to X and posted a photo with Speed.

Grimes noted he taught the 19-year-old social media personality how to endure a daunting maneuver like the RKO. Speed, who boasts of a gargantuan online following, is about to round up 34 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel. He’s also won the 2024 Streamer of the Year Award. IShowSpeed made another WWE appearance on the April 29 edition of Raw to announce draft picks alongside Logan Paul.

After an overwhelming response from Speed’s WrestleMania RKO bump, he might be in for more WWE gigs. Orton, who laid Speed out at Mania, was unsuccessful in capturing the United States title. He had to go through Logan Paul, the then-champ, and Kevin Owens. Speaking of the latter, Owens is responsible for Randy’s ongoing WWE hiatus.

A few weeks ago on SmackDown, The Prizefighter nailed Randy with a piledriver, a move that has been outlawed in WWE since 2000. In its aftermath, The Viper was hospitalized and Kevin faced disciplinary charges. GM Nick Aldis levied heavy sanctions on the Canadian wrestler pertaining to his reckless demeanor.

Owens and Orton will cross that bridge once again when The Apex Predator is healed. For now, Kevin can’t look any further than this weekend. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, he’s got a crack at the Undisputed WWE title against former friend Cody Rhodes.

Could Randy Orton main event WrestleMania for the third time?

Even before Randy Orton grew apart from Kevin Owens and vice-versa, The Legend Killer was constantly giving a surreptitious look at Cody Rhodes‘ WWE title. Orton would often be caught by fans on social media.

One could deduce that sooner or later, he’d turn his back on Rhodes. However, before that could happen, Owens played his part. That doesn’t mean Randy’s done with Cody. In fact, there are rumors that the two might end up in the same ring at WrestleMania 41 with the world title up for grabs.

Former Legacy teammates duking it out for the ultimate prize in sports entertainment would be must-see. The only thorn in the bush is The Rock. Although he’s currently not expected to compete at WrestleMania, he’s merely a phone call away to rework the plans. If Rock’s willing, he could face Rhodes.
